ONE of just three games in the Premier South to survive the weather, this fixture saw Poole take on inform Kings Langley.
Poole took an early lead with Luke Roberts’ cross from the left finding Marvin Brooks at the back post for an easy finish.
Town kept up the pressure, creating several chances within a five-minute spell: James Constable seeing a flicked header saved, a header just over and a lobbed shot superbly saved by Alex Tokarczyk.
Poole had two good shouts for goals that were cleared off the line.
