STORTFORD scored two secondhalf goals to end Merstham’s ten-match unbeaten run in the league, leaving the Moatsiders to rue a missed second-half penalty.
The crucial moment came in the 65th minute when Mark Haines handled a Roman Michael-Percil effort but Stortford stopper Arthur Janata was the hero saving Fabio Saraiva’s spot kick and then blocking the rebound.
