HUNGERFORD TOWN boss Ian Herring has hung up his boots following an 18-year playing career.
The 34-year-old will remain in charge of the relegation-battling Crusaders, but has decided to prioritise management, family and work outside of football.
Herring began his career at Swindon Town in 2002 before appearing for Salisbury City, Chippenham Town, Forest Green Rovers, Northwich Victoria, Eastleigh and Hungerford, who he has managed since 2017.
