CARSHALTON put a dent in their visitors’ promotion charge with a comfortable win at Colston Avenue.
The Robins started brightly and visiting goalkeeper Valery Pajetat brilliantly tipped away Harry Ottaway’s volley on eight minutes.
But the home side scored shortly after as Ricky Korboa took aim from 15 yards and he bent the ball beyond Pajetat with the help of a small deflection.
Borough failed to create any real chances and they fell further behind as Korboa slid in to convert an Ottaway cross at the back post.
