A FABIO Saraiva wonder strike for Merstham and a Jake Turner tap in for Brightlingsea Regent secured a point a piece for these sides in what was an entertaining affair at the Taydal Stadium.
The first chance of the game came when Michael Brothers helped the ball forward to an alert Aaron Condon, who fired a shot over the Merstham bar.
Shortly after Regent midfielder Jake Turner latched on to a through ball only to see his effort smothered by Amadou Tangara in the visitors’ goal.
