STAFFORD Rangers picked up their first home win in two months in a tense battle against Bamber Bridge in a game that saw the two keepers produce top-class performances.
Both Joe Cuff and Jake Charles went close before Charles fired the home side ahead in the 11th minute after finding a yard of space following Tom Thorley’s long throw.
Twice, Cuff found himself in a good position but failed to get a shot in while Dan Burns’ header landed on the roof of the net. A minute later, Cuff sent a shot flashing across the face of goal.
