SOUTHPORT were held to a goalless draw for the second successive weekend.
Their attempts to bounce back from midweek defeat at Stockport were frustrated by a disciplined FC United.
The Sandgrounders came closest to a goal, Ryan Astles crashing a header onto the crossbar, but FC United were worth a point and can reflect on missed chances of their own.
