NAT JARVIS’ second-half header pushed Westonsuper- Mare to the brink of relegation, as Chippenham Town claimed a slender victory at the Woodspring Stadium.
The Bluebirds edged a drab game in Somerset, leaving Marc McGregor’s side ten points from safety and on the verge of falling into the Southern League.
The 90 minutes encapsulated the Seagulls’ miserable campaign, with them bossing possession but devoid of any cutting edge in the final third – and the home supporters vented their frustration en masse at full time.
