SWINDON secured all three points and a clean sheet with a comfortable home win.
The first half went past with little to note other than two early Stuart Fleetwood shots.
Supermarine started the second half brightly and took the lead in the 48th minute when Henry Spalding showed great composure in the box to curl home.
Magpies sub Tom Blair missed a gilt-edged chance to equalise when he got behind the home defence to curl wide.
