IN AN ill-tempered match the two teams shared seven cautions and one straight dismissal.
A quiet start offered little in terms of goal attempts, until Rushall’s Simeon Maye’s shot went wide.
Tyler Little gave the visitors hope with his outstanding work on the right. Hitchin’s free-kick from Michael Cain on the edge of the area was saved by Matthew Sargeant as was Harry Draper’s weak follow-up.
Joseph Hull sent one over the bar for Olympic before Hitchin enjoyed a short but sustained period of pressure.
