LEAMINGTON turned in a gritty performance to earn a point at the Deva Stadium.
After a turgid first period, Chester took the lead with a well-crafted goal on 47 minutes.
Craig Mahon’s cross from the left was met by Ben McKenna, who hit an unstoppable low effort past Tony Breeden.
Brakes gained more composure midway through the half, with Colby Bishop and Jamie Hood both shooting narrowly wide from close range.
The visitors were reduced to ten men on 80 minutes when Jordan Murphy was dismissed after collecting a second yellow.
