CHESHAM’S 14-match unbeaten run came to an end after Harry Cooksley’s second-half penalty earned Farnborough victory.
In a match ruined by the conditions, Chesham had the wind behind them in the first half but could make little use of it.
Midway through the half there was a goalmouth scramble in the Chesham area before keeper Ben Goode dropped on the ball.
Chesham had chances but Dave Pearce shot over, and Ryan Blake’s angled drive was well saved by Liam Beach.
