JOSH GOWLING’S late winner moved Hereford further clear of relegation danger in a scrappy battle between two struggling sides.
The first half was littered with errors and petty fouls with little constructive football.
Hereford had the better of possession but only managed one serious shot on target when Eliot Richards’ 15th-minute drive dribbling through to Guiseley keeper Marcus Dewhurst.
The Guiseley attack only came to life in the dying embers of the half when they forced three quick corners.
