A SOLITARY goal after 13 minutes from top scorer Jamie Cureton was enough to give the Blues all three points.
Hornchurch started the game brightly and Remi Sutton went close after linking up well with George Purcell before slicing wide.
It was the visitors who took the lead when the ball was won wide on the right before being squared to Cureton, who calmly slotted past Callum Chafer.
The Blues almost doubled their advantage when George Craddock found space in the box but his shot was superbly saved by the feet of Chaffer.
