HASTINGS ARE ON THE RISE

HASTINGS United moved up to second in the table after a first-half comeback saw them defeat Three Bridges 3-1.
After a tight opening 15 minutes, Three Bridges took the lead when Ibby Akanbi burst through the Hastings defence and fired low past keeper Louis Rogers.
Despite constant pressure from the hosts, Hastings levelled ten minutes later when Gary Elphick rose high at the far post to meet a Sam Cruttwell free-kick.
