TWO second-half Sam Higgins goals revived East Thurrock’s hopes of avoiding the drop. The Rocks dominated from start to finish, but a late Karnell Chambers goal meant a nervy end.
Rocks boss John Coventry took a gamble by adding centre half Ryan Scott to the forward line in a bid to add energy and it worked. Scott was effort personified and kept the Chippenham defenders on their toes, allowing Alex Osborn and Higgins freedom around the box.
