HARINGEY stayed in second place by a point after a narrow win which dented Lewes’s own play-off aspirations.
The visitors played three men up front. But Haringey began on the front foot An early pinpoint cross by Lyle Della Verde found the unmarked Kudus Oyenga but the Boro striker’s header was well off the mark.
But they opened the scoring seven minutes later when a long inswinging free kick long from Dimitri Froxylias found the unmarked Coby Rowe who headed the ball home from eight yards.
