CARSHALTON Athletic put in a five-star performance to beat struggling Wingate and gate-crash the Bostik Premier promotion race.
After an even start, in which visiting keeper Shane Gore made two good saves, the Robins began to dominate possession and Harry Ottaway eventually beat Gore with a powerful header on 25 minutes.
