PROMOTION hopefuls Spennymoor ended a run of three straight away defeats with an impressive victory at York City.
With 29-goal predator Glen Taylor for once taking a back seat, centre-backs James Curtis and Scott Harrison joined first-half sub Ryan Hall on the scoresheet in a 3-2 triumph.
Former on-loan Moors striker Alex Kempster and Sean Newton both scored equalisers for the Minstermen, but Steve Watson’s side have now won just one of their last seven contests.
