DAVE Frecklington insists he leaves Matlock Town on amicable terms after steering the club away from relegation danger.
The former Gainsborough Trinity boss agreed a parting of ways from the Gladiators after a 6-0 defeat to local rivals Buxton.
Freckington took over at Matlock in September with a run of just one defeat from the beginning of October to New Year’s Day pivotal in helping the ambitious club survive the drop from the Evo-Stik Premier Division with four matches to spare.
