FC HALIFAX TOWN ended their season on a high with a comfortable victory over an AFC Fylde side which made nine changes with one eye on their forthcoming play-off campaign.
A Matty Brown header and Arlen Birch own goal inside three first-half minutes ultimately settled the game, but Coasters boss Dave Challinor was just relieved his players came through unscatched ahead of this week’s knockout.
