WITH Hurricane Helen very much in attendance, two teams with nothing to play for but pride certainly lived up to that end of term feeling.
Daniel O’Callaghan went close with a header on eight minutes but as the wind got stronger, controlled play got more and more difficult.
Chances in the second period were limited to one. Sam Whittal took it as the ball was floated in from the far side and his header beat all for Rushall.
A series of bad tempered fouls produced yellow cards with each team getting two apiece.
