CARSHALTON finish the season as Bostik Premier runners-up as victory over visiting Stortford also saw them seal a play-off place.
A win for either side would have earned them a play-off berth but Carshalton took a second minute lead to calm their nerves.
A long pass by Daniel Pappoe found Omar Koroma and he teed up Harry Ottaway who steered a shot beyond Arthur Janata from 15 yards.
And they doubled that lead 20 minutes later as Ottaway turned provider for Ricky Korboa to smash in his 15th goal of the season.
