FOLKESTONE Invicta missed out on the playoffs despite finishing their season with a win over Bognor Regis thanks to a 69th minute goal from strike Ira Jackson.
Jackson scored the only goal of the game when he coolly slotted the ball into the net after a great pass from Josh Vincent.
But wins elsewhere for Merstham and Carshalton mean that Invicta’s win was not enough.
This had been a closely fought game as home goalkeeper Tim Roberts made a great 58th minute save to keep out a well struck shot from Bognor substitute Ashton Leigh....
