WINGATE & Finchley completed the Win-Great-Escape following a victory at Summers Lane over Burgess Hill Town to ensure Bostik League survival.
The Blues took the initiative on 14 minutes. Donovan Makoma squared to Anthony Mendy who curled across into the bottom corner from inside the box.
Four minutes on, Makoma took aim from outside the area but evaded the upright.
Luke Ifil’s corner was headed across goal by Rob Laney, only for Makoma to stab wide on 37 minutes.
