OLIVER’S NO MORE WITH THE HORNETS

HEBBURN TOWN say they have “reluctantly accepted” the resignation of manager Scott Oliver after steering the club to another successful season.
Oliver enjoyed a special last 12 months in charge of the Hornets, guiding them to promotion from the Ebac Northern League second division last season and them taking them up to second place in their first season in Division One, behind champions Dunston UTS.
He also led Hebburn to the fifth round of the FA Vase where they were eventually beaten by league rivals West Auckland Town.
