Weymouth won 5-3 on penalties
WEYMOUTH were spot on with their five penalty kicks to lift the Southern League Premier Shield in their championship clash with Kettering Town.
The tie to find the ultimate league champions ended in deadlock after normal time, but Marcus Kelly’s penalty was saved by Mark Childs to ensure the Terras name was on the famous old shield yet again.
A scrappy first 20 minutes set the tone with neither side coping with the gusting wind and hail stones at Latimer Park.
