MET TO APPEAL LEAGUE PLACING AGAIN

MET POLICE have lodged an appeal against their allocation in the Southern Premier League South next season with their travelling set to increase again.
Met were moved out of the Bostik League structure last summer as part of the FA’s restructuring where they had played since 1977.
Chairman Des Flanders fought strongly against the move although was unsuccessful and lost longstanding manager Jim Cooper and also had to cut the budget.
However, Gavin Macpherson led Met to the FA Cup first round, victory in the Surrey Senior cup and a Super play-off finals defeat to Tonbridge Angels.
