BOSTON UNITED boss Craig Elliott reckons he’s pulled off a coup in landing the versatile Simon Ainge on a season-long loan deal. The 31-year-old has been a regular opponent of the Pilgrims over the years in the colours of
Guiseley, Bradford Park Avenue and Harrogate Town, but will now line up at York Road after agreeing a deal from National League North rivals Darlington.
Ainge, traditionally a centre-half, was converted into a striker by then boss at Harrogate, Simon Weaver, but has now reverted to his more accustomed defensive role.
