GARY Johnson says it was a “no-brainer” to sign a new contract at Torquay United.
The former Bristol City, Yeovil Town and Cheltenham boss arrived at Plainmoor last September and led the Gulls to the National League South title at the first attempt – his sixth promotion as a manager. Now the 63-yearold, starting his 32nd season in management, is targeting more success back in Non-League’s topflight and says there is no place he would rather be.
