PUTTING A SHIFT IN: Kulwinder Sandhu was believed to be Britain’s – if not the world’s – longest serving manager

KULWINDER Sandhu – who is believed to be Britain’s and possibly the world’s longest-serving manager – has stepped down from Albion Sports after 34 years in charge.
Sandhu took the Leeds-based outfit from Sunday football to the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division.
Formed in 1974 in Division Four of the Bradford Amateur Sunday League, Albion made the move to Saturday football in 2007.
