CHESTER recorded their first victory of the season, defeating a spirited Farsley Celtic by the odd goal in three.
However, what should have been a comfortable win turned a little frenetic after the hosts conceded a late penalty, which gave the visitors hope.
Chester dominated the first half, hitting the woodwork on two occasions with Danny Livesey headers and bringing out three excellent saves from the Yorkshiremen’s shot-stopper Elliot Wynne.
