FOLKESTONE Invicta began the season with a solid home win at their newly christened Build- Kent Stadium thanks to second half goals from Jerson Dos Santos and Ira Jackson.
The windy conditions were a factor in this fixture between two clubs that just missed out on the play-offs last season.
Dos Santos opened the scoring in the 63rd minute of his Invicta debut. The striker hit a good finish into the far corner of the net with the outside of his boot after Josh Vincent had played the ball up the right hand side.
