POTTERS BAR opened the season with a well-deserved three points but they were helped on their way by Carshalton’s injury misfortune.
The Robins were disrupted in the first half when goalkeeper Billy Bishop was injured in a challenge with Thomas Gogo and defender Dan Pappoe had to take over between the sticks.
The conditions dominated the first half which finished scoreless with neither side able to create many clear cut chances. The best opportunity of the half fell to the Scholars.
