LINCOLNSHIRE League newboys Sleaford Rangers have been devastated by the death of after their popular manager who collapsed celebrating the club’s first ever win in senior football.
Just five minutes after his side’s 3-2 victory at Brigg Town Reserves last Saturday, Jim Pacey fell down as he walked back to the dressing rooms.
Despite efforts by bystanders to treat him, he could not be revived.
Pacey had been one of the founders of the club, who until now had been in junior football. His son Jay plays for the team.
