FOLKESTONE remained table-toppers, ending host Horsham’s unbeaten run in the process.
A 79th-minute goal from Johan Tor Horst gave the Kent side all three points.
But Invicta would have conceded the league lead had the Hornets converted a late penalty.
Tor Horst had been on the pitch as a sub for 17 minutes when he netted at the second attempt after Hornets keeper George Bentley spilled his first attempt.
This came a minute after Tor Horst headed a fine Scott Heard cross narrowly over the crossbar.
