HORNCHURCH moved into the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Hornchurch started strongly and were unlucky not to take the lead on 10 minutes. George Saunders, who tormented the visitors defence throughout, found space and crossed for Lewis Spence whose effort was well saved by Carl Knox.
Seconds later Daniel Uchechi went close, directing a Saunders cross over the bar from six yards out.
