MALDON and Tiptree maintained their perfect start to the season by sweeping aside a Histon team that rarely threatened to produce a cup upset.
It took the Jammers just nine minutes to open the scoring when Tyrique Hyde found space in the Histon area to slide the ball past Sam Roach in the Histon goal and rarely looked like surrendering the lead.
The home side responded with periods of sustained pressure, although their best efforts came from distance.
