A WORKMANLIKE performance from a powerful Hednesford was enough to take the points.
The earliest chance fell to Kings when a Charlie Tuff through ball was latched onto by Mitchell Weiss, but Daniel Platt was swiftly off his line to block the shot.
A Roddy Collins 25 yarder was just over for the home side.
But five minutes later,Lloyd Doyley was adjudged to have fouled Reece King in the box and a penalty was duly awarded.
Kieran Wells went for power on the spot kick, but Melvin Minter pulled off a superb save to keep the effort out.
