FORMER Newcastle United, Southampton and Rangers defender Olivier Bernard has taken the reins of Durham City following the departure of the management team of Billy Harper and Stephen Durrant.
The 39-years-old former France Under-21 international, who has owned the Northern League Division Two outfit since December 2013, stepped down as chairman earlier this year, stating that his future involvement would be limited to an advisory capacity because of his work commitments.
