BOWERS & Pitsea will have to try again on Tuesday after the frame of the goal intervened on three occasions to deny them victory.
The visitors had the better of the first half, with tall forward Lewis Manor hitting the woodwork twice at either end of the 45 minutes.
His 20-yard shot hit the top of the post after eight minutes.
And on the stroke of half time he directed a header from a corner onto the bar.
They were denied by the frame of the goal a third time on 50 minutes when Brad Warner struck the post from a tight angle.
