BORO’S poor form on the road continued but Ives had to thank their goalkeeper Finley Iron for three magnificent saves in the first half to keep the game level.
He denied Luke Benbow high to his right in the eight minute and Michael Richens low to his right in the 25th minute, but his best save of the game was a lot less spectacular as he was swiftly off his line to block Devon Kelly-Evans’ effort at point-blank range after the Boro striker got completely clear only a minute later.
