AFTER the heroics of beating third-placed Ilkeston away in midweek, Wisbech came down to earth in their first home game for 25 days, losing 3-1 to Stocksbridge.
There was less than a minute on the clock when the visitors took the lead, Scott Ruthven bundling home in a goalmouth scramble.
Stocksbridge went 2-0 up when Josh Nodder’s free-kick evaded the dive of keeper Sam Wilson on his home debut.
The deficit was halved when Joel Earps scored off the post from Aaron Hart’s low cross to make it 2-1at the break.
