IVES legend Jimmy Dean left a very happy man from his old stomping ground having plotted a successful smash and grab raid on his former club.
Dean’s men scored the opening goal against the run of play midway through the first half when Maniche Sani tore into the heart of the Ives defence before releasing Josh McCammon.
Ives keeper Finley Iron was alert to the danger and spread himself well to block Mc- Cammon’s effort, but Cameron Johnson was following up and rolled home the loose ball.
