Watson lands top job at Ebbsfleet

KEVIN WATSON has been named new manager of Ebbsfleet United – and now has his eyes set on avoiding the National League drop.
The 45-year-old was last night handed the permanent job following their 2-2 draw at home to Chesterfield which extended their unbeaten run to five games.
Watson has been in temporary charge since Garry Hill was sacked last month, taking Fleet into the FA Cup first round and moving them off the bottom of the table.
