FOLKESTONE’S lead at the top of the table was cut to two points when Carshalton secured their fifth successive league draw.
The game began quite slowly but, once the players had adjusted to the blustery conditions, the fans were treated to an intriguing match.
Robins keeper Kleton Perntreou was forced into the first save by Kieran McCann’s angled shot, which he palmed away.
But Carshalton led six minutes before the break.
