NORTHERN PREMIER League chairman Mark Harris is comfortable their clubs are made acutely aware that the mandatory insurance cover doesn’t include player-to-player.
Ossett United are one of 58 out of 62 NPL clubs who have taken up the cover through the league – the others have to provide evidence from another insurer.
The Football Association requires clubs to at least have public liability insurance as well as personal accident cover.
