DARLINGTON inflicted Chester’s second away league defeat of the season with a battling display at Blackwell Meadows – but a floodlight failure nearly denied them.
The floodlights flickered on and off during the first half, and went off completely at halftime, but the referee gave the go-ahead after all but two of the eight pylons came back on.
