THIS was a meeting between two sides in decent form.
Jonny Margetts was harshly denied an opener by the linesman’s flag. But it didn’t stay scoreless for long as Drayton keeper Ashley Rawlings pushed the ball away from goal only to see Jacob Hazel volley it back in.
On the half-hour Frickley extended their lead when Margetts back heeled a Jake Currie freekick past the keeper.
The second period opened with another home goal, Jacob Hazel feeding Bradley Wells.
