■ LEAGUE leaders Bury Town were toppled at Bridge Road by a Histon side that showed they can compete with the league’s best.
Simon Swinton started the rout in the 19th minute with a volley from ten yards after the Bury defence only halfcleared a Histon corner.
The goal sparked the visitors into life and Cemal Ramadan almost found the top corner with a rasping shot from distance which was clawed away by the fingertips of Sam Roach in the Histon goal.
